Fajr Music Festival to close on Thursday

The closing ceremony of the 35th Fajr Music Festival has been set to be held in Iran’s capital, Tehran, on Thursday.

The festival will announce the winners during the closing ceremony which will begin at 18:30 local time in the Vahdat Hall.

The veteran Iranian musicians, Houshang Zarif, Ofelia Parto and Ashiq Hassan Eskandari and the composer Nader Mashayekhi will also be honored at the ceremony which will see Abbas Sajjadi, a music expert and the CEO of Niavaran Cultural Center, performing.

Salar Aqili and Parvaz Homay held concerts in the Vahdat Hall on Wednesday as part of the festival.

The Fajr Music Festival is the most prominent music event in Iran. The event gathers renowned musicians from Iran and other countries every year.
